Michael Rogers

Manager, Design & Marketing Technology at ERC

A user advocate and award-winning graphic designer, Michael is ERC’s Manager, Design & Marketing Technology. In his role, Michael creates and manages our visual strategy and presence across all forms of print, digital, and physical media. He is also responsible for identifying, implementing, and maintaining our marketing automation products and applications for our brands – ERC, NorthCoast 99, and ERChealth.

Since joining ERC in 2015, Michael has held multiple positions within the organization, including Design & Digital Marketing Specialist, and Manager, Design. Today, in partnership with ERC’s Director of Marketing, Michael helps determine our overall creative vision, approach, and design style. He ensures our brand standards are consistently upheld across all forms of media and by all users, and he manages and maintains the current look and feel of our websites.

Michael makes major contributions to ERC’s digital presence by identifying performance trends and opportunities, and by sharing recommendations for improvements in web functionality. With the goal of increasing qualified leads, customer engagement, conversions, and new sales, Michael makes suggestions to enhance our web users’ experience and buyers’ journey.

In addition to designing all forms of media, Michael manages the daily work of our Design Associate. He is a member of ERC’s technology committee and the planning committee for NorthCoast 99, an annual recognition program and event that honors 99 great Northeast Ohio workplaces for top talent.

Prior to joining ERC, Michael was the Senior Graphic Designer for BioMed Specialty Pharmacy in Cincinnati, Ohio. Thanks in part to Michael’s hands-on marketing efforts in all aspects of design, sales, and print production, the company grew exponentially and was acquired in the spring of 2015.

Outside of work, Michael volunteers for the Cleveland chapter of AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts), where he helps organize meet-ups, trainings, and the planning of their annual conference, INTrospective. In 2019, Michael was selected by AIGA to attend their National Leadership Retreat in Atlanta, Georgia.

A talented and enterprising professional, Michael is also a freelance designer and the recipient of numerous ADDY awards from the American Advertising Federation. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, and fly-fishing.
