Renée is a veteran of Northeast Ohio's media, marketing, and public relations community. She has spent time as a television news producer and radio reporter in Cleveland and has extensive experience in health care and higher education marketing and media relations.
As ERC's Content Marketing Manager, Renée plans our editorial calendar and executes content strategies that drive engagement, leads, sales, and customer retention. A creator and collaborator with a passion for digital reach, she believes in "story first" and produces engaging copy across all print and digital marketing channels.
Renée applies SEO tactics to create and maintain top-ranking web pages. She is also charged with creating and monitoring ERC's weekly email campaigns, as well as developing content for all of ERC's social media platforms.
Renée completed her master's degree coursework in communications at Miami of Ohio and holds a bachelor's degree in communications and English from The University of Akron, where she was a founding member of Alpha Epsilon Rho broadcasting Honor Society. She regularly attends Content Marketing World and other national conferences to keep her skills honed.
Renée volunteers for Adoption Network Cleveland and advises the undergraduate chapter of her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, at Case Western Reserve University. She is extremely proud of her daughter, Alienna, who is a writing teacher at a local school district and who also performs with improv groups across the city.
Outside of ERC, Renée is active in the craft beer community in Northeast Ohio to honor her father, Jack McAuliffe, who founded the New Albion Brewing Company. New Albion was the first post-Prohibition craft brewery in the U.S. She also enjoys traveling to visit family and friends, and hiking the local Metroparks with her Springer Spaniel, Porter.
