Last Thursday, the 3rd annual HR Awards were held at Landerhaven, hosted by ERC and Cleveland SHRM. The awards event recognized Northeast Ohio’s HR professionals who have demonstrated excellence in the field of human resource management. The awards honored all levels of HR practitioners, from individuals in local SHRM student chapters to HR executives.

All of the winners made a short acceptance speech as well as picked a walk up song and a quote to represent their journey to where they are today. David Barlaam, winner of the Talent Management Award, chose a motivational quote that perfectly represented a professional’s work journey.
