Description

Oftentimes, the success of a supervisor or manager depends largely on how well they communicate with their employees. In this virtual, instructor-led training, participants will take Wiley's DiSC assessment to become more aware of their own and others' communication styles and preferences. They will also learn and discuss the following topics:

  • Meaningful communication as a supervisor
  • Importance of building relationships and rapport with others
  • Influences of body language and tone of voice on verbal communication
  • Active listening skills
  • Social style awareness and how to adapt to others’ styles for more effective communication

Participants will also receive job aids and resources to apply the skills and implement the best practices they learn. To accentuate the hands-on learning experience, attendees will journey through the yourERC Learning Portal.
