Negotiation occurs around us all the time. From day-to-day matters, like who is doing the dishes, to more significant issues, such as salary negotiations.
Much has been said and written on how women are not skilled negotiators, and that overall, women negotiate less often than men. But is this really true? And what is important for women to know about negotiation for their own wants and needs? In this highly-interactive training session, these questions will be answered, and attendees will improve their negotiation skills.
The program will begin with the importance of negotiating, especially for women in today’s complex world. Then, participants will learn when, how, and why they should rely on their negotiation skills. They will be provided a framework on how to represent their individual needs in every scenario. Lastly, they will discuss ideas for individual improvement, and engage in exercises to practice new skills.
