Orientation & Performance Management Plan Basics


New employees in an organization need to understand their role, what is expected of them, and how this fits into the overall business goals and strategies. Employees need feedback on how they are doing to help them understand what they are doing right and help them stay on track. This session covers the basic steps of a thorough orientation process, how HR can help managers manage their direct reports’ performance, and what to do when a performance management program needs to be adjusted to be more effective.
