Accountability conversations are the prickly, complicated, and often frightening performance discussions that are uncomfortable.
Typically, when working together, parties have come to a common understanding and assignments have been made—meaning things are on course—then someone fails to complete his or her assignment. The question needs to be asked, “Why didn’t you keep your commitment?”
When successful, these conversations create a solution in which both parties are able to comply and the relationship is strengthened.
This program is a companion to Critical Conversations, yet can be a stand-alone course. Using a similar model, this program deals with a subset of the interactions and pivotal concepts in Critical Conversations.
