Fundamentals of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

The Fundamentals of GD&T is designed to develop a basic, working knowledge in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing per the ASME Y14.5, 2009 standard. This program covers what people need to know in order to work in an engineering, manufacturing, and quality control environment.

This course explores basic philosophies of how, when, and where to apply GD&T along with tips for producing quality parts. The program also discusses the application of geometric tolerancing to design, manufacturing, and quality control. A variety of computer color animated graphics and video clips are used in the program materials to help participants stay engaged and clearly understand the concepts.
