Susan Congdon

Susan has served as a computer applications instructor since 1985. To certify her skill level in both content and presentation, she became a Microsoft Master Instructor in the entire Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and Project). Susan’s business experience with many Fortune 500 companies enables her to provide real-world examples to enrich students’ learning experience. She has served clients from local businesses and industries to community colleges and universities, as well as satellites from coast to coast. She was named to Nationwide Register’s 2002 Who’s Who in Executives and Businesses. Full Bio

Susan has also served as adjunct instructor at Cleveland State University, University of Akron, Lakeland Community College and Case Western Reserve University. She has been a featured speaker at several trade shows and user group meetings. Over fifteen published works include training manuals such as “Laptops for the Sales Staff,” “Creating and Managing Projects,” “Making the Most of Your Touch Screen” and “Secrets of a Successful Trainer.”

Susan began her career in computer training as a Market Support Representative for a word processing manufacturer. This role included post-class on-site visitations to help students transition from a typewriter to electronic media. Working shoulder to shoulder with users from clerical staff to CEOs, Susan gained valuable insight into their roles and daily tasks. She uses examples from this experience in her lively training sessions.

Susan graduated cum laude from Wittenberg University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and teaching certification on the secondary school level and was a high school French teacher prior to entering the business world.
